Iraq’s Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani confirmed ongoing talks with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to resume oil exports through Turkey’s Ceyhan port, aiming to expedite the flow of 350,000 barrels per day by amending the budget law.
Speaking to the Iraqi News Agency, he acknowledged that the federal government currently lacks control over the KRG’s production of 286,000 bpd, as informed by OPEC.

Negotiations between Iran and the US regarding Iran’s nuclear program could be imminent, following a letter from Donald Trump delivered by Emirati advisor Anwar Gargash, reports Amwaj media, citing a high-ranking Tehran source.
The source added that Iran has yet to respond to a request for the Emirates to facilitate engagement, stating,
“We have not decided yet, it depends on when the response to Trump’s letter is ready.” On Monday, Iranian FM Araghchi confirmed no direct talks under “maximum pressure,” but left room for indirect discussions.
