Iraq’s Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani confirmed ongoing talks with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to resume oil exports through Turkey’s Ceyhan port, aiming to expedite the flow of 350,000 barrels per day by amending the budget law. 

Speaking to the Iraqi News Agency, he acknowledged that the federal government currently lacks control over the KRG’s production of 286,000 bpd, as informed by OPEC. : File
