US pressure on Iraq to resolve the issue of salary funds for Kurdistan.
Rebaz Hamlan, former Iraqi Deputy Finance Minister and assistant to the KRG Prime Minister, said both the KRG and federal government await the Federal Supreme Court’s upcoming session to issue a provisional order on Baghdad’s suspension of salary funds for Kurdistan Region civil servants.
He expressed hope the ruling will pave the way for releasing the funds, noting US pressure on Iraq to resolve the issue
