Iran announced Monday that it is open to indirect talks with the US but ruled out direct negotiations, following President Donald Trump’s ultimatum for a new nuclear deal. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that discussions could proceed indirectly but insisted direct talks would only be possible if Washington changes its approach towards Tehran.
