A new report for the specialized platform “Energy” revealed on Sunday, huge gas projects that will be witnessed by 9 Arab countries, during 2025.
According to the report published by the platform, the new year will witness the entry of an Arab country into the market of countries producing and exporting liquefied gas, passing through Morocco, Algeria and Libya, to Saudi Arabia, Oman and Iraq.
According to the platform’s new report, we review the most important Arab gas projects expected for 2025:
1. “Torto Ahmim” project in Mauritania
2. Moroccan-Nigerian Gas Pipe
3. Algerian-Nigerian gas pipeline
4. Libyan-Nigerian gas pipeline
5. Al-Jafoura Field in Saudi Arabia
6. Total Project in Iraq
7. Expansion of the “North” field in Qatar
8. Al Ruwais LNG Project in the UAE
9. Construction of a fourth line at the Industrial Park in Qalhat in Tyre State in Amman
Arab gas projects are expected to contribute more to the international trade in liquefied gas in the future, after completing the package of liquefy projects currently being implemented, which will contribute to raising the export capacity of Arab countries by about 50%, to reach 203 million tons annually, by 2027.
