Security and Economy" Top the Agenda.. Details of the Expected Visit of the Syrian Foreign Ministry Delegation to Iraq

The Political sources revealed, on Saturday, the details of the expected visit of a delegation from the Syrian Foreign Ministry to the capital, Baghdad, in the coming few days, stressing that the security, political and economic files will be the focus of joint discussions between the two countries  ;.
The sources told Shafaq News, "The visit will focus on discussing the continuation of Iraqi aid to the Syrian people and mechanisms for developing it, in addition to the file of controlling the security of the common borders and how to maintain mutual trust between the two sides and ensure that ISIS gangs do not move and remain in Al-Hawl camp, in addition to not opening prisons and releasing the terrorist gangs detained in them ."
The sources added, "The two parties will also discuss efforts to preserve the unity of Syrian territory and support the building of a democratic political system that guarantees the rights of all Syrians, including the rights and safety of minorities, in addition to discussing the file of opening border crossings and organizing economic and trade exchange according to specific controls ."
The sources indicated that "the talks will address the vision of the new administration in Damascus to ensure the security of the region and prevent the spread of internal conflicts outside the Syrian borders, especially in the Kurdish file and the file of Syrian refugees, including soldiers and officers of the Syrian army who sought refuge in Iraq after the fall of the Assad regime ."
The sources continued their talk by saying that "Iraq wants to intervene positively to support the establishment of a new political system in Syria away from wars and internal divisions," noting that "the stability of Syria constitutes a basic element in strengthening Iraqi national security and protecting the region from the danger of the return of the activity of the terrorist ISIS gangs ."
A government source had previously revealed to Shafaq News, last Tuesday, about an upcoming visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Syrian Interim Government, Asaad Al-Sheibani, to Iraq, after the scheduled return of the Iraqi Prime Minister to Iran .
Syria is witnessing active diplomatic movements after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, with the influx of Arab and foreign delegations to Damascus, and the contacts that its officials are making with the Arab world .
