Iraq invites American companies to establish the associated gas station in Basra

The Iraqi government, on Monday, invited American companies to establish the associated gas station in Basra, while the fuel processing plan for power plants.
A statement from his office and response to “Mil” said, “The Sudanese chaired on Monday a meeting on oil and electricity sector projects, in the presence of the ministers of oil and electricity, in addition to specialized advisers and a number of agents in the two ministries.”
The statement continued, “The meeting witnessed a discussion of the gas projects that are under implementation within the government program, and the specified schedule for their completion, especially since there is an escalation in the levels of stopping the associated gas burning, as the percentage is currently 67 percent, and it is hoped to reach 80 percent at the end of next year, up to stop burning completely at the end of 2027.”
He added that “during the meeting, during which the meeting was discussed inviting specialized American companies to establish the fixed gas platform in the large port of Al-Faw.”
The statement continued, “The meeting discussed inviting international energy companies to invest in natural gas fields, in addition to discussing the fuel processing plan for electric power production plants at the moment, and for the coming months.”
