Ministry of Interior announces issuance of first national card outside the country

Baghdad - WAA 

The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Monday, the issuance of the first national card outside the country.

A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said:  "Under the supervision of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and through the intensive follow-up of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and in a step that is the first in the history of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, the first national card was issued at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the British capital, London, after the opening of a special office for issuing national cards there."
The statement added, "It is hoped that the Ministry of Interior will open a number of national card issuance
