Salah Nouri, a former Director of the Financial Supervision Bureau, confirmed on Saturday that the Ministry of Finance’s re-adjustment of the 2025 budget schedules will be significantly impacted by developments in the global economic situation and military operations.
“The budget schedules are still with the executive authority (the government), and it is expected to be sent to the House of Representatives during the remainder of this October,” he continued in his statement.
Nouri provided the following explanation: “In accordance with Financial Management Law No. (), the House of Representatives must approve the budget before the end of December 2024″ 6) of 2019.”
