On Thursday, the Industrial Bank warned citizens against carrying amounts that exceed the allowed limit.
The bank’s media office said in a statement received by (Mawazin News): “Citizens should be careful not to carry amounts that exceed the permissible limit,” noting that “they can adopt official methods of transporting large funds.”
“Citizens should avoid carrying money in cash to prevent legal accountability if the limits allowed to enter and take money to and out of Iraq are exceeded,” he added.
