Prime Minister Receives NATO Joint Forces Commander

A statement from his media office said “Earth News” said that this came on the sidelines of a participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024, indicating that the meeting reviewed the overall security situation in the region, and cooperation between the NATO mission and the Iraqi security authorities, especially in the field of training and intelligence coordination.
It was also discussed “on a number of issues related to logistical support for the NATO mission operating in Iraq, after the withdrawal of the international coalition to fight ISIS, and the Netherlands taking over the mission of the alliance mission next May.”
The Prime Minister praised “the level of cooperation between the Iraqi armed forces and NATO, and coordination in promoting regional and international security and stability.”
For his part, Admiral Munch expressed his appreciation for the government’s facilitation and support for the NATO mission, operating in Iraq.
