A meeting of Sunni forces in the coming hours to name the president

An informed political source revealed, on Wednesday, the anticipation of a meeting of the leaders of the Sunni forces to come up with a unified position regarding naming the next Speaker of the House of Representatives.
According to the source, Mawazine News: “The head of the Taqaddum Party, Muhammad al-Halbousi, will hold several meetings with Sunni leaders in order to finalize the nomination of the names nominated for the presidency of Parliament.”
He added, “Al-Halbousi, as well as Khamis Al-Khanjar, set a red line about nominating any leader from the Azm Alliance to head Parliament, while Sunni support will go towards Faisal Al-Issawi.”
He pointed out that the Sunni leaders supporting Al-Issawi are also discussing forming the governments of Saladin, Mosul, and Anbar and participating in the administration of Baghdad.
