PM: Governorates to launch pioneering projects in the field of solar energy
INA - BAGHDAD
PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Monday of the National Renewable Energy Team, attended by several governors and the Electricity Committee.
During the meeting, discussions focused on efforts to explore alternative solutions in smart and renewable energy, in line with the Prime Minister’s directives, according to a statement by the PM Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The objective is to develop rapid and innovative solutions through pioneering projects that reduce the load on the national grid during peak hours by utilizing solar energy and advanced renewable energy technologies.
The meeting also reviewed plans to integrate energy generation and reduce losses by incorporating solar energy into the national grid at both low and medium voltage levels.
The Prime Minister directed the governors to initiate pilot projects in this field to achieve technical benefits and minimize energy losses. These projects will be assessed for their feasibility, and successful models will be replicated across other provinces to support the national electricity network.

MZ: I have contacts that are physically working in some locations. They started over this weekend. A couple of group contacts are steadily working and dusting off old paperwork and going through things because they have not been there in quite sometime
MZ: I am hearing the same things from historic bonds. I also heard from 3 bond contacts that they are expecting things to start today and over the next few days. They are expected to see their bonds funded.
MZ: Some groups expect full release of tier 4a funds this week as well. I am very excited about the chatter but we need it to actually come to fruition.

Karim told {Al-Furat News} that: “It was agreed that Masroor Barzani would assume the presidency of the new government, provided that he would be tasked with forming the government between the two Democratic Parties and the Union exclusively.”
He explained that “the agreements were made after confirming that the presidency of the region and the government will be the share of the Democrat, based on electoral entitlements.”
“According to the agreement, the Union will hold the presidency of the parliament, in addition to the position of deputy prime minister, 6 sovereign ministries, in addition to other senior positions,” Karim continued.
Regarding the other parties, Karim stressed that “it will not have a role in the new government, as it boycotted the Islamic Justice Party, which has 3 seats in parliament and its seats will be distributed to other political blocs.”
