“A delegation from the Kurdistan Region is visiting Baghdad today, where the delegation carries a number of proposals submitted to the government,” said Wafaa Mohammed Karim, {Furat News}.
He added that “the subject of paragraph 12 of the budget, some deputies entered paragraphs on it, which led to a conflict in the data with the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc.”
“A proposal was submitted that the region provide all its financial revenues from oil and non-oil,” Karim explained, stressing that “the region rejects and its requirement to grant its share of the entire actual budget, operation and actual, which is estimated at 20 trillion dinars. ”
He continued, “Or the delivery of the region’s salaries only, which do not reach 10 trillion dinars at the rate of 6% of the region’s share in exchange for not delivering all imports, but half of the federal government, and this will be put forward in today’s meeting.”

Shafaq News / The coordination framework, which brings together the Shiite political forces formed by the government of Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, confirmed on Monday that he was not afraid of the new US President Donald Trump, regarding the imposition of any of the sanctions on Iraq during the next phase.

Al-Famar MP Ali Nima told Shafaq News that the framework has no fears about Trump, and promoting concerns about the imposition of any sanctions on Iraq is not real and far from reality.

“Baghdad and Washington have good relations on various levels,” Nama added, adding: “We seek and work to strengthen that relationship during the next phase.”

He pointed out that “the United States of America is an institutional country and has a fixed policy of dealing with countries, including Iraq, and changing the president of the country does not mean changing that policy and taking hostile decisions towards the friendly country of Washington, including Iraq.”

“The coordinating framework is not afraid of Trump, and he does not believe that the Republican president will do anything towards Iraq, but on the contrary, he will strengthen the relationship during the coming period,” Nama concluded.

Since the announcement of the results of the American elections, and Trump’s victory in the position, Republican MPs have worked to mobilize the new administration, against some Iraqi figures, accusing some of them of complete loyalty to Iran, and calling on the US president to take action against them.

Trump’s new team, including the strongest opponents of the Iranian axis, has also venged greatly against the previous administration of Joe Biden and the Barack Obama administration, considering that these two administrations have handed over Iraq to Iran, after the withdrawal, and after a series of negotiations.
