The nominal Speaker of the US Congress, Zainab Al-Suwaij, revealed US President Donald Trump’s policy towards Iraq in the next phase.
Al-Suwaij said, during her hosting on the {Free Talk} program broadcast on Al-Furat satellite channel this evening, that:
"There is a big change in the Trump administration from his previous and current term, especially in these elections, as he tried to focus on the Muslim and Arab community in America to vote for him," indicating that "Trump comes with new plans for the Middle East and America and has taken 10 big and bold decisions, the most important of which is securing the American economy."
She added,
"Trump learned the lesson after his previous loss and during his candidacy period he held more than 35 meetings with the American Muslim community," stressing that "Trump will take Iraq into consideration to preserve American interests, as America's interest is above any consideration, regardless of its presidents, because American policy is one.
" Al-Suwaij continued, "I do not believe in the issue of America entering the stage of old age; but there are old parties that have power and influence, and Trump chose a balance of different ages and colors in his work team."
She explained that "Trump wants his presidency to be free of wars and conflicts to save the money paid from the US Treasury, and the Middle East issue is important to him in terms of disarmament, preserving America's interests in it, and ending conflicts in the region."
Al-Suwaij added, "The US administration will be very careful in dealing with Iran and vice versa, and this takes us to a period of ebb and flow, and perhaps there will be agreements that erase the past and open new pages."

The Central Bank of Iraq called for caution in transmitting and circulating news about the closure of exchange outlets, and confirms that no decision, directive or statement has been issued regarding the closure of outlets or their conversion into exchange companies.
The Central Bank’s recently issued statement stipulates: Expanding the spread of cash delivery outlets through all available channels, including ATMs, POC cash payment devices, as well as authorized exchange companies, electronic payment company outlets, and POS electronic payment devices spread throughout Iraq

The Central Bank of Iraq denied, on Saturday, the issuance of any decision, directive or statement regarding closing exchange outlets or converting them into exchange companies, calling for caution in transmitting and circulating news that these outlets are closed.
The bank explained in a statement today that the Central Bank’s statement issued recently stipulates: expanding the spread of cash delivery outlets through all available channels, including ATMs, POC cash payment devices, as well as authorized exchange companies, electronic payment company outlets, and POS electronic payment devices spread throughout Iraq.
The statement stressed the need to transmit news from its official sources, which are published on its official website and verified social media pages.
He stressed in his circulars issued to all parties in the Iraqi financial and banking sector, which included directing banks and non-banking financial institutions to expand their financial services in areas that lack the aforementioned services.
Electronic payment outlets announced last Friday evening a complete closure starting next Monday in protest against the statements of the Central Bank Governor Ali Al-Alaq, who indicated that the commissions in the outlets are not licensed by the bank, and announced a plan to transfer operations to exchange companies.
