AL-KARAAWI WARNS OF ECONOMIC PROJECTS THAT WILL DRAG IRAQ TOWARDS NORMALIZATION
The head of the organizing body of the Belt and Road Popular Movement, Hussein Al-Karaawi, warned of European-American attempts to drag Iraq through economic projects towards normalization with the Zionist entity, and the implementation of a new plan in the region.
He added, “There is another effort that aims to drag Iraq towards the Zionist entity by extending an oil pipeline from Iraq towards the port of Aqaba, to deliver oil to the occupied territories and serve the Zionist project.”
He stated that “America and its ally Europe are seeking in every way to implement a new economic project in the region that aims to annex Iraq, in one way or another, to the countries normalized with the usurping entity, which is something that the Iraqi people reject and stand against.”
(There is much, much more to this that is not being said in this article. This is why the west does not want Iraq dealing with the China and its silk road project. Do you see it now? Yes, the globalist want Iraq as a territory, a puppet state of the globalist empire One World Government. Please see the next article.)

I was greeted by an employee who asked “may I help you” I told him I wanted to see a private client banker. He asked what this was regarding? I replied that it was related to currency. So that employee went to an office and had a conversation with another banker . I was shown into a room and the first thing the private client banker said was “Is this about the Iraqi Dinar?” I said yes, He smiled and closed the door and told me this was the 5th meeting he has had this week about the dinar and that what was happening in Iraq about the rate change.? I told him what I knew , and he said it aligned with what he was hearing. He said the dinar rate change is a hot topic in the bank right now. I asked him when he expects to know of the rate change …and when it would be on forex. He said “About 3 days” and took my contact information. I have not heard from him yet but hopefully soon.”

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that senior officials from Turkey and Iraq will meet in Baghdad on Thursday to discuss cooperation in the field of energy in addition to security and defense affairs.
Relations between the two neighbors have been strained in recent years, as Ankara has intensified its cross-border operations against PKK militants stationed in the mountainous regions of northern Iraq. Iraq said the operations violated its sovereignty, but Ankara says it should protect itself and warned of a new incursion.
The two sides also disagree on the resumption of oil exports from the crude oil pipeline, which runs from Iraq through Turkey, which Ankara says is operational but Baghdad has not yet resumed operations.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Oncu Ketçali said at a press conference in Ankara that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and the head of the Turkish intelligence service Ibrahim Kalin will hold talks with their counterparts in Baghdad at a “security summit.”
“The formulation of a common understanding in the fight against terrorism and the concrete steps that can be taken in this regard will be on the table,” Katchali said. The Iraqi authorities’ classification of the PKK as a common security threat is a sign that the desire to fight the PKK is growing in Iraq and we welcome that.”
The outlawed PKK, designated by Turkey, the United States and the European Union, took up up arms against the Turkish state in 1984 and killed more than 40,000 in the insurgency.
“The resumption of oil flows from the Iraq-Turkey pipeline will be discussed during the meetings,” Katchali said.
Turkey halted flows to the pipeline, an oil export route from northern Iraq, following a ruling in an arbitration case issued by the International Chamber of Commerce ordering Ankara to pay damages to Baghdad for unauthorized exports between 2014 and 2018.
Ankara later began maintenance work on the pipeline, which contributes about 0.5% of global crude oil supplies. The two countries agreed to wait until the pipeline maintenance assessment is complete to resume flows while they continue a legal battle over arbitration decisions.
“We mentioned last October that flows may be through this pipeline, and there are no problems for us; but we recognize that the Iraqi side is not yet ready,” Katchali said. “We want all parties in Iraq to reach an agreement within the framework of dialogue and mutual understanding, and to resume the flow through this pipeline as soon as possible,” he added.
He added that officials will also discuss cooperation in the gas and renewable energy sector as well as the scheduled visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Baghdad expected next spring.

She explained “regarding the news received in some media circles about allowing the entry of a number of goods in the Great Welcome Square in um Qasr Port, as the permit to enter these shipments is exclusively related to goods and materials that have been audited and processed in accordance with the customs procedures that preceded the start of electronic automation recently applied, as well as those that have been completed according to the electronic system, and the shipments and materials received before the date of 6-3, which is the date of the commitment of the intervening parties to enter their data in the system.”

(It is just a short matter of time before these revenues take off and rival the oil revenues. Iraq is going to be “filthy rich”. Oh but their currency is still 1/6 of a penny?)
Shafaq News/ On Wednesday, the Finance Committee оf the Iraqi Parliament disclosed details оf hosting Finance Minister Taif Sami. Simultaneously, a message was directed toward the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) concerning the salaries оf its employees.
Youssef Al-Kalabi, a committee member, informed Shafaq News that among the topics discussed was the issue оf localizing salaries for employees іn the Kurdistan Region. Al-Kalabi pointed out that “the committee discussed the financing and localization оf salaries for employees іn the Kurdistan Region” and clarified that “the Federal Court’s decision was clear оn this matter.”
The Committee also urged the Regional government tо facilitate the localization оf employees’ salaries, ensuring equality with other Iraqi employees.
Al-Kalabi emphasized the clarity оf the Federal Court’s decision and the Ministry оf Finance’s letter, asserting that while February salaries іn the Kurdistan Region would be disbursed, March salaries hinged оn localization.
The Ministry оf Finance and Economy іn the Kurdistan Regional Government, however, revealed оn Tuesday that federal procedures deprived regional employees оf their February salaries. The ministry disclosed that only 59% оf total salaries were funded by the Federal Ministry оf Finance, leaving 41% оf employees without wages, and the funded amount did not reach the Ministry оf Finance іn the Kurdistan Region.
The Federal Supreme Court (the highest judicial authority іn Iraq) had decided оn Wednesday, February 21, 2024, tо oblige both the Iraqi and Kurdish Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, the head оf the federal cabinet, and Masrour Barzani, the head оf the Kurdistan Regional Government, tо domicile the salaries оf employees and public sector workers at federal banks.
The recent court decision has sparked debate among Kurdish politicians, criticized as unconstitutional and politically motivated, yet defended by observers who argue іt aligns with the law and constitution, potentially resolving the prolonged salary delays for the region’s employees.
In an interview with Monte Carlo International, the head оf the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), leader Masoud Barzani expressed regret for the recent Court’s decisions, considering them biased against the Region. “Unfortunately, all the decisions оf the Federal Court are heavily biased against the Region…Its decisions are unjust and unfair, distinctly against the Region.”
