Masrour Barzani Discusses With A US Treasury Official Reforming The Financial And Banking System In Kurdistan

2024-03-01 Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, discussed on Friday, with the US Treasury Undersecretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Brian Nelson, reform of the financial system and the banking sector.

A presidential statement received by Shafaq News Agency stated, “Barzani met with the Undersecretary of the US Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, Brian Nelson, and the two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations and ways to support the reforms implemented by the Kurdistan Regional Government within the framework of the ninth ministerial formation.”

The statement added, "The two sides discussed reforming the financial system and the banking sector, in addition to discussing the (My Account) project and the digital transformation of public services." LINK

No. There won't be any announcement. It's actually going to be snuck up on them. One day the Iraqi citizens will wake up and they'll get a text or ping or whatever and they'll be notified to get your butts into the banks and they will be given what will be given to them...

A lot of good news come out yesterday and I'm very happy...You know what? I'm excited. I'm very excited what's happening.

Article: "Data from the Central Bank of iraq show a decrease in the amount of printed currency by 1.2 trillion dinars between the months of November and December 2023 while indicating this decrease in the amount of currency is the 3rd largest decrease recorded in 20 years..."

Very good news, IQD decreasing. Wow.

The RV will not happen if no one declares the end of the war...we still on war. In December 2021 they took troops out... but they never declared the end of the war...and they never took out the international coalition.

For everything to happen they have to declare the end of the war. The international coalition have to be out of there. The soldiers of United States have to be out of there. Of course they're going to bases in Iraq but they're going to keep friendly bases in Iraq...not for war...I don't think Biden is going to do it.
