Mr. Al-Hakim to the US Ambassador: The need to commit to seriousness in the negotiations to end the missions of the alliance
The head of the Alliance of National State Forces, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, welcomed the United States Ambassador to Baghdad, Elina Romansky, the resumption of the second round of bilateral negotiations to discuss the termination of the tasks of the international alliance and the transition to the bilateral relationship.
During the meeting, Mr. Al-Hakim confirmed, according to a statement from his office, a copy of which was received by {Euphrates News}, “the need to commit to seriousness during negotiation, and we renewed our support for the Sudanese government in managing the negotiations within the work of the Supreme Military Committee.”
He also stressed that “the war on Gaza is unjust and we called on it to stop it as soon as possible, and to introduce humanitarian aid to our Palestinian people.”
“The recent elections contributed to strengthening the democratic experience through the formation of local governments, and we expressed our hope for the success of the governors in their tasks and providing the service,” Mr. Al-Hakim noted.
He also expressed “his condemnation of destabilization attempts through resorting to violence and the use of weapons, and we expressed our support for the security services to carry out their duties in prosecuting the perpetrators of these unacceptable criminal acts.”
