 When you take the three zeros off the 25000 dinar you only have a 25 dinar.  It give the impression of a stronger currency because it doesn't look like an over inflated currency.  It didn't say it's going to be stronger.  It says...Deletion of the zeros is to give the impressionof a much stronger currency.  It gives people confidence...If they do that before they change the exchange rate we are ass out.  We need to figure out how to swap our currency for the new currency...What did I say we wanted to avoid?  A redenomination until we see it go up in increments..Now all of a sudden they're talking about forcing Iraqi people to bring inter dinar by redenomination.  Man, this is looking bad.

Question "Just be blunt...Make it simple.  If someone holds a million dinars what is the most  one can get from this amount over the next several years?"  I've been blunt about this...It depends on how long you hold it.

  Let's  say it starts to go up in increments like I think it's going to happen, you have to look at your 1 million dinar and think to  yourself, 'Am I going to be happy with the current exchange rate.'  

 It really depends on when it gets to a rate that you like.  As  long as they can stay out of conflict, continue moving forward like they have with reform, getting back in the World Trade  Organization, showing back up on Forex, these things are very important on give value to the Iraqi dinar.

"Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received four members of the US Congress: Mike Turner, Mike Turner, Mike Michaelshire, Joe Wilson and Jerry Connolly, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024," the Prime Minister's Information Office said in a statement received by Mawazine News.

The statement continued that "during the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States, and ways to enhance constructive cooperation, as well as reviewed a number of files and issues of common interest, were discussed.

The meeting also touched on the ongoing dialogue on ending the mission of the international coalition in Iraq, after the arrival of the Iraqi security forces to an advanced stage of readiness and high performance, and the transition to broad bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States of America and the rest of the coalition countries."

Al-Sudani called for: "The need to develop relations between the two countries at various levels and sectors without limiting them to the security side only," noting "the state of recovery experienced by Iraq, and the reforms it is witnessing in various economic and financial sectors, and proceeding with integrated economic partnerships with the countries of the region and the world, which will contribute to enhancing development and achieving stability for the country."

Members of the US Congress noted their “interest in the success of the Iraqi government in several aspects,” stressing “the importance of Iraq and its role in promoting security and stability in the region.”

  Iraq is getting closer to a currency reset...Iraq's rail plans have investors worldwide watching carefully...The rail connection in Iraq from the Gulf to Europe will change Iraq's economy.  This same method of increasing the GDP was recently used by Mexico when they built a connecting rail system...Mexico's exchange rate increased against the US dollar and now Americans are spending more money to live in Mexico...This is one of the major paths that can lead to a higher GDP and a higher value in the currency.  The project is set to start in early 2025.

The International Monetary Fund has consistently recommended Iraq develop additional streams of income outside of the oil industry.  Iraq holds a significant amount of the world's history within its borders...What is  needed is security and safety for travelers.  Once safety issues are address and the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers are flowing again there will be substantial annual revenue to help boost Iraq's GDP.

Sudani Discusses With Siemens Energy To Accelerate Its Business In Iraq

Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed, on Saturday, with Siemens International Energy to accelerate its business in Iraq.

A statement for his office received by Earth News said that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received today, Saturday, CEO of Siemens International Energy, Christian Broch, on the sidelines of his participation in the Munich Security Conference 2024.”

The statement added, “The meeting witnessed the review of the projects carried out by Siemens in Iraq, ways to accelerate work, as well as the review of contracts and the progress made in the implementation of their paragraphs, as well as the consideration of the joint memorandum of understanding between the company and the Ministry of Oil on the investment of associated gas and the development of Iraq’s capabilities in this vital field.”

He added, “The meeting discussed the opportunities available to develop the distribution sector and energy transfer within the Iraqi electrical network, where the Prime Minister pointed out that the desired development in the electrical network cannot be achieved, except by developing all its sectors, and efforts and plans must not be limited to the development of production alone.”
