Member: There are so many reports out there that this morning through tomorrow we should be getting our notifications it’s off the hook. Just praying for an ounce of confirmation to get the ball rolling

Member: Are we stuck in limbo?

MZ: I don’t think we are in limbo. I think we are watching it play out….and we are just frustrated because of the timing. 

MZ: MilitiaMan dropped a fantastic video about clear, solid, progressive developments in the Iraqi economy. Be sure to go listen how they are in the International banking world and will be ascending to the World Trade Organization. 

Member: Let’s get our troops out of Iraq ASAP and get this started

MZ: “Iraqi endless push for timetable for US withdrawal regardless of security situation”  It’s time for them to walk on their own. 

MZ: Also: “Exclusive –US and Iraq to initiate talks to end US Military led coalition”  They are in the process of creating a timetable.  

MZ: Mr. C has not been paid yet. When he does – you will not be able to miss it….

Member: Guess there is no bond news or Group news today. Hopefully they are under NDA’s

MZ: “ Breaking –US banks adopt Ripple’s XRP for International payments”  This started in Europe and expanded to over here. Many large banks around the world use this now to move payments cross borders……Not using the SWIFT system anymore. 

Member:  Mark, are we looking at a particular time of day in the US that this might go through since Iraq is in a different time zone, so is Vietnam etc.? Would it be our early morning?

MZ: We have been told years ago that the most likely time- or easiest time for them to execute this was Saturday night or Sunday night between 11 pm and 3 AM est….It does not have to be then…but I was told that was the easiest time for them technically. 

Member: Mark! Q: if Iraqs rate has gone international, how soon after might we receive our notification?

Member: Is there a chance we're all being played for financial gain by a small elite group at the top? We keep buying currency and nothing happens. Just a thought.

Member: Hang in there and continue to think positive thoughts.

After the reports from Syria, report on US withdrawal from Iraq as well The U.S. and Iraq will begin talks regarding the full withdrawal of all American military presence in the country – CNN The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has received 'an important message' from the United States; Iraq says it will take the 'necessary steps and preparations', the content of the message has not been disclosed, Tasnim media reported.

The US is planning to withdraw its forces from Syria - Foreign Policy The US has been under constant attack in Syria for months and American troops are very vulnerable there because, unlike Iraq, the US has no ties with the central government in Syria. “Since brutal attack against Israel on Oct. 7 and the resulting Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip, tensions and hostilities across the Middle East have reached fever pitch. And with such a complex regional crisis playing out, it should not come as a surprise that the Biden administration is reconsidering its military priorities in the region. It should be cause for significant concern, however, that this could involve a full withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria. While no definitive decision has been made to leave, four sources within the Defense and State departments said the White House is no longer invested in sustaining a mission that it perceives as unnecessary.  United Nations Development Programme: This Is The Reality Of The Projects Of The Stabilization Program In The Liberated Areas

Wednesday 24, January 2024 18:02 | Political Number of readings: 123   Baghdad / NINA / The United Nations Development Program in Iraq responded to the article recently published in the British newspaper The Guardian regarding the stabilization program for liberated areas of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq.

The official spokesman for the United Nations Development Program said in a press statement today, Wednesday, “We take all allegations seriously and investigate them expeditiously. We will take firm and appropriate measures if any of these allegations are proven true.”

He added, “The United Nations Development Program has zero tolerance for fraud and corruption, and this applies to all UNDP employees, non-UNDP employees, suppliers, implementing partners, and responsible parties, but zero tolerance does not mean there are no risks,” noting: “The program “UNDP has been transparent with donors, partners and the general public about the risks and operational challenges that have followed years of conflict in Iraq.”

He explained, “Any allegation of bribery, corruption or fraud is comprehensively evaluated and, where appropriate, investigated by the Independent Audit and Investigations Office of the United Nations Development Programme.”

He stated that: “With regard to the stabilization program for liberated areas, based on the complexity of the program and its broad scope of work, and also in accordance with best practices, the United Nations Development Program has implemented a series of additional monitoring and control measures in addition to standard protocols, which include, among other things, “establishing an operations service center.” A specialist for the stabilization program for liberated areas in 2015 to manage procurement issues and complex operational operations, including providing due diligence and oversight

. Conducting direct verification operations for projects on the ground, and providing support to third-party monitoring teams, in addition to other tasks, and the presence of an investigator from the Independent Audit and Investigations Office dedicated to monitoring this project, who is responsible for conducting investigations related to all allegations related to the stabilization program for liberated areas in a way. Comprehensive.”

He continued to say, “Project audits were conducted every year for the period 2019-2022, and these audits included projects at a cost amounting to more than one billion US dollars from the financial allocations allocated to the projects of the Stabilization Program for the liberated areas, and the Independent Audit and Investigations Office also carried out “We will comprehensively audit country office operations in 2023.”

He stressed, “All audits of the Independent Audit and Investigation Office are available to all citizens on its website, and in this regard, the Independent Audit and Investigation Office has dealt, over the past eight years, with more than 130 cases related to the work of the Stabilization Program for the liberated areas, and these cases or cases were submitted.” “By our employees and third parties, from external oversight bodies to the Independent Audit and Investigations Office, the UNDP administration took swift action in response.”

He went on to say: “In our work in Iraq within the stabilization program for liberated areas, we have a strict set of procedures to manage the risks that accompany working in such a difficult environment. We continue to strengthen these procedures in close cooperation with independent evaluation and investigation offices.”

Regarding the stabilization program for the liberated areas, he explained that: “In 2015, at the request of the Government of Iraq and with the assistance of the international donor community, the United Nations Development Program in Iraq established the Stabilization Program for the Liberated Areas to implement a program characterized by steady and accelerated steps to carry out reconstruction activities that provided benefit.” To millions of Iraqi citizens so far.”

He added, “The program has enabled the return of nearly five million displaced Iraqis out of six million, who would have remained stuck in displacement camps for many years had it not been for these purposeful projects. Through the completion of more than 3,600 projects, the Iraqi communities in which they live have become About 8.3 million people are now able to obtain basic services that have been rebuilt or rehabilitated, including schools, hospitals, water and electricity networks, housing, and roads.”/End 5   https://ninanews.com/Website/News/Details?key=1102926

Member: Good Evening. Lots of distractions going on.. I hope that means RV is on the cusp

MZ: We keep getting positive news. Over the last 2 days in Iraq I’ve seen about 4 articles pushing to remove the US. And about them executing their white papers or economic reforms and restoring their exchange rate.

MZ: To me “restoring” is to put it back the way it was. Right? And restoring it back to its former glory when it was one of the most valuable currencies in the world. So to me that would mean at least $3+

Member: I will be thrilled with anything over a dollar at this point. Just wish they would do it.

MZ: If you do the math $3.22 in 1991 and adding in inflation would be a rate of around $7.25 today. Wouldn’t that be something.  WOW.

MZ: I did talk to some bond people and I did talk to some group people. I had an agreement with them that if they answered the phone….this means they have not been paid. They answered the phone. My contacts have not been paid yet.

MZ: This is interesting. “The ECB (European Central Bank) asks some lenders to monitor social media for early signs of bank runs”  They are worried about that and whether or not they have liquidity to handle it. At some point the people are going to figure out that the money just is not there.
