Iraq: We are working to resume the export of crude oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan
Oil Minister Haiyan Abdel Ghani confirmed on Wednesday work to resume the export of crude oil through the northern port.The ministry said in a statement that “Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abdul Ghani chaired the leadership meeting for operations,” praising “the achievements in the oil sector during the past year.”Abdul Ghani stressed “the implementation of the government program in the government program, and the acceleration of the implementation of strategic projects in the sectors of extraction, liquidation, gas, distribution, export outlets, renewable energy, infrastructure and others.”He expressed “the ambition that the new year will witness the implementation of many strategic projects, achievements, and the formation of an important addition to the oil industry.”He added that “we are working to promote projects to sustain and increase oil production, and implement the requirements of the five-year plan to reach a production rate of (6) million barrels per day,” noting that “a significant increase in production, and we plan to reach self-sufficiency, and stop import, and the coming period will witness the completion of a number of promising projects that achieve our goals.”
He continued, “We succeeded in promoting the associated gas investment projects, and the last period witnessed an increase in the quantities of gas invested from the oil fields, and this year will witness the addition of (200) of fields invested within the tasks of the work of the Basra Gas Company, as well as the promising increases from the fields of the Maysan and Dhi Qar Oil Company,” pointing to “working to strengthen the strategic storage of oil products, to support the electric power generation sector, the local need, as well as work to re-re-esume the export of crude oil through the northern port, to enhance financial revenues to support the state treasury. The ministry achieved in 2023 an increase in financial revenues than planned, and we hope to achieve more during the new year.”He pointed out, “the importance of the leadership meeting of operations in discussing the implementation of strategic project implementation plans, and accelerating their implementation.”The meeting discussed a set of important topics and projects included in its agenda, where measures and recommendations were taken on them, in the presence of the ministry’s agents, and a number of officials in companies and departments of the ministry’s center.

Folks, as I have stated before the world economy cannot continue without the RV and the powers that be know this. On Fri. 23 Dec. I spoke with a banker contact. He was going to Los Angeles or San Francisco to spend the holiday with his family. He indicated that point it might be much later into January before we did anything.
So today (Thurs. 28 Dec.) since I hadn’t heard from him, I called and spoke to his Assistant. She said he’s planning to fly back into Texas tomorrow Fri. 29 Dec. He’s got these five stages he’s involved with. He’s training a number of Wells Fargo bankers on the procedures that they have to follow in order to do exchanges.
He said that everyone that goes through an exchange process will be getting some type of a new Credit Card/ Debit Card that hooks into the QFS system. At your exchange you will get at least one or two percent of whatever you’re going to exchange immediately put on that card. They will open a new account for you, or possibly multiple accounts.
If you have more than one currency and wish to open an account for each currency, they will do all that at your exchange meeting. Then it will be 10 to 20 days after that funding will actually appear in your new accounts. I think he said it was a $10,000 dollar debit card to leave the exchange process with so you have funding at least up to 10 grand to do certain things you may need to do.
Iraqi Minister of Trade: Baghdad International Fair will witness wide participation from countries and companies, 4 JAN
Atheer Al-Ghurairi, Minister of Commerce, confirmed that the 47th edition of the Baghdad International Fair, which will open on the tenth of this month, will see a wide participation of countries and companies.
The Iraqi Ministry of Commerce said in a statement that “Al-Gulf” obtained a copy of it that “Iraqi Minister of Trade Atheer Al-Ghurairi inspected on Tuesday evening the Baghdad International Exhibition to supervise the readiness of the Baghdad International Fair to hold the 47th session to be held under the slogan (Iraq Continues), under the auspices of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani for the period from the tenth to the nineteenth of this month.”
She added that Minister Al-Ghurairy toured during his field supervisory visit in the gallery and halls of the exhibition.
Al Ghurairi stressed that the 47th session of the Baghdad International Fair must be distinguished in all fields, which requires the completion of all logistical and administrative preparations from the exhibition halls and their green squares to the preparation of a schedule that accommodates cultural, social and artistic activities and the practice of various types of popular events, especially that our goal is to accommodate countries and companies to present industrial, agricultural and scientific products, as well as citizens’ practice their activities and hobbies.
He stressed that the 47th edition of the Baghdad International Fair will witness wide participation by Arab and foreign countries and companies.
