The Central Bank organizes a workshop on basic standards for detecting counterfeit currency.
The Center for Banking Studies, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq's Erbil branch, organized a training workshop on "Basic Standards for Detecting Counterfeit Currency." The workshop saw the participation of several government and private banks.
It also addressed aspects related to the instructions and standards for the circulation and replacement of banknotes, and the mechanisms for counting and sorting in accordance with the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. 56 of 2004, as amended.
The training workshop will last for 3 days, from July 1 to July 3, 2025.

The Center for Banking Studies at the Central Bank of Iraq organized a training workshop on the mechanisms for conducting a self-assessment of the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing. The number of participants in the workshop was (53).
