The Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (APIKUR) announced its readiness to consider amending contracts, in agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government to resume exports.
“If such agreements require amendments to the current contracts, APIKUR member companies are willing to consider this if they are agreed between the federal government, the Kurdistan Regional Government and oil companies,” Apikur said in response, to a statement to Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa of Sudan.
“Oil companies in the Kurdistan region are not ready to amend their contracts,” Sudan said to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
The Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (APIKUR) has called for tripartite discussions for the purpose of resuming oil export via the Iraqi-Turkish pipeline.
“The association would like to refer here to recent media reports that incorrectly blamed international oil companies (IOCs) for the dispute over the reopening of the pipeline between Iraq and Turkey (ITP),” the company said in a statement, adding, “The members of this association believe that the tripartite discussions between the Government of Iraq, the Kurdistan Regional Government and the global oil companies on the one hand are necessary for the purpose of finding a mutually beneficial solution.”
“The Association here would like to refer to recent media reports that erroneously indicate the lack of flexibility on the part of international oil companies as a reason for the continued dispute over the resumption of oil exports through the Iraq Pipeline,” she added, noting that “such reports indicate that ongoing talks were interrupted due to the intransigent position taken by international oil companies, but the Association would like to show that no joint discussions have taken between international oil companies and representatives of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Government of Iraq since 7-9 December 2024.”
The Kurdistan Oil Industry Association (APIKUR) stated, “The members of this association’s readiness to resume exports, provided that agreements are reached that provide for ensuring payment for past and future exports, direct payment and maintaining commercial conditions, if such agreements require amendments to current contracts, the member companies of the Association are ready to consider this if it is agreed between the Government of Iraq, the Kurdistan Regional Government and individual international oil companies.”
“The member companies of the Kurdistan Oil Industry Association believe that the tripartite talks between the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Regional Government and the global oil companies are the best way to find solutions that lead to the resumption of exports through the Iraqi-Turkish oil pipeline,” said Miles Kagns,” said, “The member companies of the Kurdistan Oil Industry Association are ready to participate constructively in any such talks.”

As I have said a thousand times if not a million times in the last decade of my Newsletter – DO NOT DWELL ON THE TIMING. What good does this do for you? No one and not even the CBI knows the timing ,,,,get it? There is no such thing as delays it is all in your head. When the time is right Iraq will reinstate. There are other events that must proceed FOREX and I have reviewed these also many times. Don’t you get it by now?

WOW! ...I was told by my CBI contact months ago to watch for right before the CBI makes one more “official” rate change closer to 1000 from 1320. If you take 1000...and delete the three zeros 1000 what do you have? Of course, you have a situation of 1 dinar equals 1 dollar...But I believe that when they CBI does make this next official rate change it will move closer to 1166 and not 1000 which would make 1 dinar = 1.16 dollars just over a dollar to help the banks retrieve these dollars hoarded outside of the banks... Let’s sit tight and watch this play out.

Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced the opening and operation of 200 electrical stations throughout Iraq’s regions and cities.
Al-Sudani’s media office stated in a statement that the latter opened and operated “48 electrical power transmission stations for ultra-high and high pressure, and 152 electricity distribution stations throughout all governorates of Iraq, within the first phase of a package of projects to resolve bottlenecks in electricity transmission and distribution networks in Baghdad and a number of governorates.”

He stated, "2000 of these degrees will be awarded to the female component," pointing out, "All matters are ready to transfer these numbers, along with their aid amounts, to the Ministry of the Interior."
He continued, "The controls and selection will be by the Ministry of Interior after giving it the data of the 48,000, and it will select 37,000 of them," explaining, "These contracts include the head of the family."
Regarding providing job opportunities and renewing the annual statement, Al-Moussawi stressed that “our tripartite plan includes: first, expanding inclusion to the maximum extent, second, targeting other groups, including those suffering from diabetes, cancer, and spinal cord diseases, and third, graduation into the labor market,” and he stated, “in the event that the beneficiary refuses From the subsidy, there are three job opportunities for which the subsidy will be cut off in accordance with the law.”
He pointed out, "We are in the final stages of transferring the statistics to the Interior, and the final minutes will be signed and approved by the Ministers of Labor and Interior, to be implemented immediately after the budget is approved."
