Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received from the US Ambassador in Baghdad to Elena Romanowski, an “important message” from her government to the Iraqi government.
A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry received {Euphrates News} said that Hussein received Ambassador Romanowski on Wednesday evening “and received an important message from the US government to the Iraqi government.”
The statement pointed out that: The message will be studied by the Prime Minister {Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani} and the competent concerned authorities and the next steps will be taken soon on it.”
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry did not reveal the content of the message, but coincides with the tension of the relationship between Baghdad and Washington after the repeated US bombing of popular crowd sites, the latest of which was dawn today in Anbar and the cliff of victory north of Babylon.
