Shafaq News – The Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Wednesday that a meeting held in Baghdad is separating on the resumption of exports of the region’s oil via the Turkish Ceyhan line.
A tripartite meeting was held in Baghdad, on the resumption of oil exports and the course of negotiations is going well between Erbil and Baghdad and the dispute was over oil production,” said the spokesman for the provincial government, Pishua Huramani.
---- “We have not yet reached a final solution to this issue, but we are optimistic and the territorial government have tried to negotiate with Baghdad in all directions,” Houramani added, explaining that “the issue now between the oil companies, the federal government and the territorial government agree to the agreement provided that the constitutional right of the region is preserved.”
On the issue of salaries, Houramani pointed out that there is an agreement between Baghdad and Erbil, and a number of demands have been implemented, so there are no obstacles to delaying the sending the salaries of the security forces, and the remaining salaries will be disbursed to the security forces after Eid.
