First copper wire and cable site in Kurdistan Region, Iraq, 6 OCT

 ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Prime Minister attended an opening ceremony for the the Erbil Copper & Cable Company on Wednesday.

The plant is a modern integrated factory and industrial compound for general limited trade, built on a large area of ​​175 thousand m2. 

It is also an industrial corporation where all processes of production from recycled of the copper waste to making copper wire and cables.

Erbil Copper & Cable Company ECC is the first copper wire and cable site in Kurdistan Region and Iraq. The factory is a strategic plan, built by local workforce, its products are to the international standards and the pure copper is by %99.99 approved.

The plant aims to provide copper wire and copper cable to the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and other countries in the zone. It is also to provide some support and services to all large industries, contractors and businessmen in the Kurdistan Region.
