Question from woldopep: MG, Do you believe that there is a chance that we will need to travel abroad from the USA to exchange our 3 zero notes for the new lower denominations. ? Is this a real possibility ? Is it possible that our 3 zero notes will be obsolete after a short period of time ? Thanks, woldopep
Answer Mnt Goat: Guten Tag. This first question is just so ridiculous I hate to address it without calling you a fool. But you may be a newbie and so I will forgive you for it. What can we investors do to help the RV situation?
We must now buckle down and pray and pray like never before for the success of Al-Sudani and his agreements with Washington are implemented.
You do want the RV don’t you? Pray for Iraq and also the U.S. in that there are strong enough representatives in Congress and the Senate who will stand up and continue to fight to uphold the US Constitution and keep fighting this Washington corruption. Pray that that God’s Hand will intervene and save our great country. Remember you can say the Rosary daily or use the prayers and links I provided from the Auxilium Christianorum for your prayers.
Folks your prayers so far ARE WORKING and God has heard your cries. Just look at all the progress made just since December 2022 when Iraq announced they were finally entirely out of Chapter VII. And now the spigot is wide open the final issues preventing the reinstatement are being dealt with one by one. Can you see it too. I am trying my best to help you see it. We don’t’ need this foolishness of this everyday / any day garbage intel. You think this is all just coincidental? God’s Hand is at work here.
He has given Iraq his anointed leader Al-Sundani to help in this work. Even I have to sit back in amazement of what he has accomplished so far. Pray for him and all his success. It is June already and this month is proving to be a very significant month again. But my contact in the CBI told me there is a very high probability that we would see the currency swap out in this month of June and so we watch and wait. I will get more news tomorrow when I make my call to Iraq.

All we're looking for now, to some degree, is when are they going show these amendments to be law. We heard different things about the president having to sign, not sign, we have 15 days time frames and people are debating on when that time frame starts - was it June 3rd or was it the day he received it? Do we know the exact day he received it? I don't. But we know our time is short...Once the amendments are passed into law, we'd like to think that prior to that they're going to expose the new real effective exchange rate and probably mention they've done the project to delete the zeros which get you the nominal effective exchange rate.

If they have a real effective exchange rate like al-Sudani said, that the dinar is going to be stronger than the dollar, the parallel market goes away...Obviously the stronger the currency is the cheaper it is for Iraq to do what they need to do. It's a no-brainer. It's that simple.
The black market is going to exist if the United States dollar is less than the Iraqi dinar...There's not much demand for the dollar now...They've got it under control. Is it showtime? I sure hope so.
I don't care if you've been in this for 20 years. What we're seeing now is completely different. It's a progression. Some people don't like the progression. They just want it to be over and done. Welcome to the club.
You kind of need the IMF article VIII compliance and that's what we're waiting for which is a real effective exchange rate. I think these guys are about ready to expose that. I think al-Sudani...Alaq from the Central Bank of Iraq all of them have this in their eyes to see this come to fruition and very quickly...

IRAQ IS THE FIRST ARAB COUNTRY IN DEVELOPING OIL PIPELINES
Iraq ranked first, as the most developed Arab country for oil pipelines, according to data issued by the specialized Global Energy Monitor platform, until May 2024.
The Arabian Gulf is among the most important regions witnessing oil pipeline construction projects globally, in light of the leadership role it plays in the global market and its possession of huge crude reserves.
Iraq topped the list of the most developed Arab countries for oil pipelines, and the oil pipeline projects – proposed and under construction – reach 3.83 thousand kilometers, divided between 75 kilometers under construction and 3.756 thousand kilometers proposed.
(Mnt Goat -Please see the article above about the new proposed $4.9 billion dollar oil pipeline budgeted for 2024. So go figure why they would then publish this news about who is the biggest giant in building pipelines. Coincidental?)
The marine export pipeline project, with an investment cost of $416.9 million, is scheduled to be implemented during the years 2024 and 2025, and will be implemented by the Dutch company Royal Boskalis.
This comes as the country implements plans to increase its oil production to 8 million barrels per day by 2027, contributing to Iraq topping the list of the most developed Arab countries for oil pipelines.
It is noteworthy that Iraq has about 15 lines for transporting oil, with a length of 2.09 thousand miles, and 10 lines with a length of 1.53 thousand miles for transporting petroleum derivatives, according to data issued by the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).
