Member: Iraq is having a holiday….ends tomorrow I believe. 

Member:  Mark do ya think it's really as close as people say?

MZ: There are interesting  things showing on currency converters…..from the Forbes one to the EIX…..There are some interesting values showing on many of our currencies. 

MZ: Bond folks are very, very quiet. Maybe Wolverine is onto something and some have been paid because they have gone dead quiet. I have one that is expecting  final documentations before the end of the week. The rest of my contacts –at least the ones I have reached out to since yesterday evening have all gone silent….so maybe there is something positive going on in the bond side??? I would consider this a “maybe” 

MZ: The banker side has a lot of anticipation for late this afternoon. We will see what materializes. 

MZ: We will do a normal podcast tonight at 7 pm est followed by Whiskey and Wisdom at 8 pm est. 

MZ: There are a lot of “inconsistencies” on currency calculators right now. We are seeing Bolivar made it up to .35 cents. (doesn’t mean you can exchange it right now) We tried. We have bank personnel keeping us  abreast if any of these currencies become “tradable” . 

MZ: You don’t have to ask me about it….if it goes tradable I will be screaming go, go , go……but, we are starting to see changes in bank values ect. But, not an open trade on them yet. Is this them “prepping” the system?  I hope so. We have seen this in the past and it’s our theory that they are preparing the process when we see those rate changes. Is this the one where they actually pull the trigger???

Member: .30 cents for the bolivar would be amazing

MZ: It’s been bouncing around between .32 to .35 cents. Dong rates have also been bouncing around .  

Member: If IQD and VND have agreements…will they not float up together?

MZ: I do not expect a float. But, I am prepared in case there is one. I expect a substantial change in value…then maybe a small float. 

MZ: Let’s say for some reason they come out lower . I would open multi currency accounts and deposit them there. 

Member- IYO Mark…why did Iraq take out a loan to make payroll?

MZ: I believe they are trying to pacify people until they have a rate change. MilitiaMan did a good one overnight on this. He gets into the peaceful protests for getting their pay…and what Iraq is doing to fix it. There is clearly something big is going on in that front right now. . 

Member:  AG1 told Militia Man on 8/27. Have a good weekend 3 times. That would put us at 9/10.

Member: some are saying we have 24 -48 hours as of yesterday

MZ: That would not surprise me with all the banking chatter right now. That is the expectation. We shall see. I don’t want to get to excited and be disappointed again. 

Member:  My bank told me that Dragon bonds will be exchanged in Rupiah because they're Asian bonds. Then have to exchange the Rupiah.

Member: QQ - Will the Redemption center be able to help with the multi-currency account ? I went to 3 banks around me and they don't have them.. Thank you :)

Member: Mark had said a few months ago that banks would offer us one when we exchange….if necessary .

Member: I was told they will offer it at redemption but we will discuss which banks have them already tomorrow.

Member:  I went to my bank yesterday, they told me I would get immediate credit for my currency the day I redeem it!

Member: What do you all think of the do not say NDA list that was posted by Judy today ??

Erdogan Will Visit Iraq Next Month...And Reveal The Latest Negotiations To Export The Region's Oil

Time: 09/06/2023  Read: 1,950 times  Source:   {Politics: Al Furat News} Sources said that it is not expected to resume pumping Iraqi oil to Turkey before next October, during which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is likely to visit Baghdad, after postponing the visit that was initially planned to take place last August. .

Turkey suspended export flows from northern Iraq on March 25 after an ICC ruling in an arbitration case required Ankara to pay Baghdad $1.5 billion in compensation for allowing KRG oil exports without permission between 2014 and 2018.

Iraq filed a petition in April with a US federal court to enforce the decision by the International Chamber of Commerce. The sources said that the lack of progress in settling this lawsuit was one of the reasons behind the postponement of Erdogan's visit to Baghdad in August.

A senior Turkish official said Erdogan still plans to visit Baghdad and "wants to sign an agreement," but "so far Iraq has not taken the concrete steps expected of it," which has led to a lack of progress.

The source added that one of the steps that Ankara is seeking is to stop the lawsuit in the United States, and that is why Erdogan is scheduled to visit Iraq in October.

An official at the Iraqi Foreign Ministry said that Baghdad had not yet received a specific timetable from Ankara regarding the expected date of Erdogan's visit to Iraq.

He added that Erdogan may visit Iraq at the end of this month or most likely in October, indicating that this will depend on the success of the talks related to energy issues, which require longer than expected due to the multiplicity of thorny issues. 

An Iraqi oil official familiar with the talks said energy officials in Baghdad and Ankara were "holding complex discussions" and that resuming flows was "the hardest issue". He ruled out the resumption of flows this month.

Two Iraqi oil officials familiar with the talks said Turkey was also seeking a compromise to reduce compensation to Iraq for damages under the ICC arbitration award.

Iraqi sources said earlier that Turkey wants Iraq to drop a second arbitration case related to exports covering the period from 2018 onwards.

The Turkish Energy Ministry has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Two informed sources said that the Iraqi Kurdistan government has lost about four billion dollars since the stoppage of oil flows to the Turkish port of Ceyhan through a pipeline.  LINK

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Security Media Cell (SMC) has officially refuted reports about an unsafe situation in the streets of Kirkuk Governorate.

 In a statement, the Agency read, "Some social media platforms have circulated news about the instability of the security situation in Kirkuk Governorate." However, it emphatically asserted, "The security situation throughout Kirkuk Governorate is stable, and no events disrupt the life in the region."

Furthermore, the statement pointed out that those "disseminating such erroneous information were attempting to create confusion." It highlighted the "enduring peaceful coexistence among the residents of Kirkuk," emphasizing the complete cooperation between the citizens and the security forces in this esteemed governorate. "Kirkuk is recognized as a symbol of unity within Iraq."

The Security Media Cell's statement also underscored the importance of safeguarding the security and service achievements in Kirkuk and all other governorates across the country.

Kirkuk, situated in northern Iraq, lies within the disputed territories and boasts a diverse population comprising Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, and Christians. The city's security situation has been marked by complexity and volatility, with tensions often escalating between ethnic and political factions. 

Kirkuk's status remains disputed, as the Kurds assert its inclusion within their autonomous region while the Iraqi government maintains its integral part in Iraq. The United Nations has proposed a referendum to determine Kirkuk's status, though a consensus on the terms of such a referendum has yet to be reached.

Shafaq News/ Iraq acquired 20% of Iran's exports in the past year, an Iranian officer said Wednesday, warning that his country might be edged out of the Iraqi market by the ongoing efforts to develop its infrastructure.

Speaking to Iran's Dunya Eqtisad, Yahya Al-Eshaq, head of the joint Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce, said, "Iran's exports to Iraq last year amounted to $10 billion, roughly equivalent to about 20% of Iran's global exports. In the first five months of 2023 alone, Iran's exports stood at approximately $3.5 billion, marking an 18.5% growth compared to the same period in the previous year."

The economic-centric Iranian agency's report emphasized the strategic importance of Iraq in Iran's trade map, contrasting it with China, to which Iran primarily exports raw materials. "Most of Iran's exports to Iraq consist of finished goods," the agency pointed out.

"Structural changes in the Iraqi economy and the nation's focus on infrastructural development have led experts to warn about the potential risk of Iran being marginalized in the Iraqi market, thereby undermining the competitiveness of Iranian goods."

Based on recent investigations, the report indicated that "out of a total of 351 principal products exported by Iran to Iraq, if competitors enter this market, only 35 Iranian products would maintain a competitive edge."

Earlier, the Tehran Chamber of Commerce announced that its exports to Iraq exceeded $10 billion last year, predicting that Iraq will remain a significant market for Iran over the next 15 years.

No, there is no RV as of yet.

I can certainly tell you the CBI knows nothing about any recent plan to RV or conduct the project to delete the zeros.

Also remember that Obama’s plan for the redevelopment of Iraq, in part is very unfair to the Iraqi people, as they suffer with inflation due the dollar crisis and low Iraqi dinar rate.

The Obama plan is a subjective one meaning who sets the criteria and what are the target dates?

Obama is not out of office and so who is still following his outdated plan for Iraq?

Why did Dr Shabibi want to reinstate the dinar way back on 2012-2013 and was abruptly stopped due to Nori al-Maliki’s corruption at the CBI?

Iraq hadn’t developed their economy yet.

You see, Dr Shabibi understood the importance of getting the currency reform completed as early as possible as we are now witnessing the hazards of waiting this long.

How could he do it then and the CBI not now?

You get my point?

So, anything is possible.

Yes, the impossible could happen, but I doubt it until the corruption in the U.S. is cleaned up.

What do our prophets say about this too.

So, all we can do now is watch for the economy to grow and the reconstruction to take place.

The funding of the budget now is also key as I told you I believe that when they start dispensing the actual money, they will want the value of the dinar at the right value.

We can also follow the prophetic word to see what God is doing to America and this gives us hope.

We must persevere in our daily prayers and continue to fight.

WE must pray for the Iraqi people.

Some intel gurus want you to believe the “official” dinar rate is now set at 1130 and the CBI has not yet changed their site.

This is not true, however I believe this is their next target rate and maybe the last rate change prior to moving ahead once again aggressively with the plan for the reinstatement.

Seems this dollar issue has stalled their plan for now but they will overcome it as they always do but it takes time.

So, what is new in Iraqi news?

The news today is all about rebuilding Iraq and exploiting the areas of concern that have potential and could bring in huge amounts of revenue to the country.

Such areas are the Customs and Tariffs and the Tourism industries.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani sponsored, on Sunday, the signing of a pioneering agreement with the International Finance Corporation / IFC, to develop and rehabilitate Baghdad International Airport, where the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority signed on the Iraqi side.

They will need these airports to bring in the tourists.

I already showed you some of the significant tourist attractions and museums.

The researcher in economic affairs, Hashem Al-Baydani, confirmed, on Friday, that the unemployment rate will be significantly reduced in the event of proper planning for development path projects, pointing out that the revenues of this path can reduce dependence on oil as a source of financing the budget.

We have entered a very critical period during the month of September and it will continue until December and into the new year.

Did you see all the exposure and whistleblowers that came forward during these months, the prophesied three-month period of exposure (June- August) that so many of the prophets talked about?

Exactly what they said would happen did happen.

We witnessed amazing exposure of corruption and lies at the highest levels of government and three letter agencies.

This also will continue but now we enter the fall period.

AL-FATH: THE MAGIC TURNED AGAINST AMERICA AFTER THE FAILURE OF THE SDF ON THE IRAQI BORDER

The leader of the Fatah Alliance, Raad al-Tamimi, confirmed on Monday America’s failure in the Deir Ezzor conspiracy by involving the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in losing battles.

Al-Tamimi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma that “the fierce clashes between the SDF and the tribes in Deir Ezzor, Syria, were ignited by America in an attempt to push its ally SDF to advance and impose its control over more lands and cities, but it failed and the magic turned on the magician.”

He added, “America is in a dilemma in the Deir Ezzor file, and it is afraid to intervene directly because it will be in front of a great popular revolution with rejection and anger at its actions in the region as it supports extremist organizations that have committed many massacres against innocent people.”

He pointed out that (Yes under Biden) “America will leave Syria just as it left Afghanistan broken, and the recent events confirm that there are fires that will be ignited by Washington’s military presence, especially since the latter has failed in all files inside Syria.”

The American forces are making suspicious movements inside Iraqi territory, which have caused panic in Iraqi society.

For fear of conducting military operations or carrying out hidden plots, which requires a government clarification that resolves the controversy of this issue.

(We will come to grips with the FACT that America is the problem in the middle east not the solution.

Yes, Iran must be dealt with but this manipulation of countries and entire societies by America has to stop.

We see the impact on Iraq and we have to stop and think how they are interfering with the democracy and sovereignty of Iraq.)
