Transportation: The speed of the passenger train along the development road reaches 300 km per hour

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport reviewed the most important specifications and routes of the development road and the connecting points with Turkey, while indicating that the speed of the passenger train within the development road reaches 300 km per hour.
The Ministry of Transport said in a statement received by Al-Maalouma, “The director of the General Company for Iraqi Railways, Younis Khaled Jawad, met today with the director of the Iraq branch of the Korean company DAEWOOE,C, Hyunsuk Jung,” noting that “Jawad was briefed on the most important specifications and paths of the development path and its global specifications.” The speed of the train for passengers reaches 300 km per hour, and check out the connection points with neighboring Turkey.”
Jawad stressed that “there is seriousness in implementing the development road project by the Iraqi government and the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi.”
