According to a report shared by Frank26, a member of Iraq’s Finance Committee said a proposed currency change could reveal hoarded and stolen money and that the project falls under the authority of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI).
💴 He also pointed out that many countries use lower-denomination notes, while Iraq currently lacks sufficient small denominations.
