🇮🇶💵 WHAT COULD BE HAPPENING BEHIND THE SCENES WITH IRAQ’S CURRENCY?
🔎 A 35-year IT/software professional says he analyzed thousands of Iraqi documents, including Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) budgets, purchasing records, equipment orders, vendors, and other publicly available information.
💰 According to his analysis, the CBI significantly increased spending on banknote-processing and destruction equipment:
📌 2019–2022: approximately 39 banknote-counting machines
📌 2023: another 33 machines
📌 Equipment was reportedly concentrated in Erbil, Baghdad, Mosul, and Basra
🗑️ Even more interesting, he identified spending related to banknote-destruction machines:
➡️ 2022: ~962 million IQD
➡️ 2023: ~16 billion IQD
➡️ 2024: ~3.79 billion IQD
🤔 His interpretation is that these purchases could be consistent with preparations for a large-scale currency management or restructuring process AS THE PROJECT OF DELETE ZEROS.
⚠️ BUT HERE’S THE IMPORTANT PART:
This information does NOT prove that the Iraqi dinar has been revalued or that a revaluation has been officially announced.
At most, the data may indicate that Iraq has been preparing for changes in its monetary and financial infrastructure.
