UN Representative: What unites Iraq and Kuwait is enough to turn the page of the past

The Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and Head of the UNAMI Mission,
Mohammed Al-Hassan, confirmed today, Sunday, that what unites the two brotherly peoples in Iraq and Kuwait is enough to turn the pages of the past.
The mission said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq and Head of the UNAMI Mission, Mohammed Al-Hassan, arrived in the State of Kuwait as part of his international missions."
"Al-Hassan met with the Emir of Kuwait, Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah."
Al-Hassan stressed according to the statement that "what unites the two brotherly peoples in the Republic of Iraq and the State of Kuwait is enough to turn the pages of the past and open new pages of cooperation and mutual trust."
