The Central Bank announces the launch date of {Riyada} Bank for lending to small projects
The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday the date of launch of {Riyada} Bank to support small and medium enterprises.
“The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq received a delegation from the International Finance Corporation, and discussed the importance of launching Riyada Bank during the next year, which will support projects with small and medium-sized loans in line with the government’s vision of supporting the graduate segment and entrepreneurs and developing labor markets,” a statement from the Central Bank’s media said.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Al-Alak, announced on October 14, the announcement of the imminent launch of the services of {Al-Riyada Bank for financing small projects.
Al-Alak explained at the time that “Riyada Bank will be a different bank through its non-traditional products that will contribute to creating job opportunities for multiple social groups.”
