Individual from the Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Regular Assets Advisory group, Ali Al-Mashkoor, uncovered today, Sunday, the most recent advancements in regards to the endorsement of the Oil and Gas Bill.
“The oil and gas law is still a prisoner of political differences, and is currently outside the corridors of the House of Representatives after being returned to the government,” Al-Mashkoor said in a statement to that effect.
“The Oil Committee studied the law in detail to identify the points of contention and agree on them ultimately to be voted on in the House of Representatives during the next stage,” he continued.
“Political differences over the oil and gas law still exist, which is why it has not been voted on and passed yet,” Al-Mashkoor remarked.
The Kurdish gatherings keep on deterring the public authority in supporting the oil and gas regulation, which should be decided on in parliament to end the infringement and burglaries that the Kurdistan Local Government is completing in the oil sneaking record.
