Parliamentary Finance: Parliament will discuss the budget if the government requests it
Mustafa Khalil, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, said that the House of Representatives will consider the budget items if the administration asks revisions.
He said, “Any amendments to the budget will be appropriate to the government program, as well as the expenditures that this program requires to be implemented.”
He went on to say, “There are many proposals regarding the budget and employee salaries, but matters are still in the hands of the government.”
He went on to say, “The government did not send any schedules to the House of Representatives to be drafted and amended before proceeding with their implementation.”
