Sudanese opens an iron factory in Basra

Today, Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani opened an iron and steel factory in Basra Governorate.
Al-Sudani’s office said in a statement received by Mawazine News, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani opened in Basra the rolling mill, one of the factories of the General Iron and Steel Company, with a production capacity of (500) thousand tons annually of different types of iron.”
He pointed out that "the factory has been closed since 2003."
Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani arrived this Saturday morning in Basra Governorate to inaugurate and follow up on a number of projects in the governorate.
