 After the American message, a security meeting headed by Al-Sudani is studying measures to preserve Iraq’s sovereignty

Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired, this evening, Wednesday, a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, during which the latest developments in the security situation in Iraq were discussed, the topics on the agenda were discussed, and recommendations were made regarding them.

According to a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the meeting witnessed an extensive presentation of the recent attacks that affected Iraq, and constituted a flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and the need to take all necessary political, diplomatic and security measures to protect Iraq’s sovereignty and maintain its security was emphasized.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stressed the importance of strengthening security throughout the country, as it constitutes a necessity to enable the government to implement its plans for development and reconstruction, and this matter cannot be tolerated at all, stressing the need for all security forces to be vigilant and beware of the infiltration of the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, and their exploitation of developments.
