๐Ÿšจ IRAQ: THE ZERO REMOVAL PROJECT MAY BE MOVING CLOSER! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ”ฅ

This latest article caught my attention BIG TIME! ๐Ÿ‘€

The article states:

“The Central Bank may move towards issuing 50 and 100 dinar denominations in the next stage…”

And it also says:

“The government is working on forming a committee to study the issue…”

๐Ÿ”ฅ HERE IS WHY THIS IS SO IMPORTANT!

I can tell you that, according to information shared with me, the committee being referenced has already been formed and has reportedly been working for the past couple of months.

That means the process may be further along than this article suggests. ๐Ÿ‘€

And remember what we have been watching for:

๐Ÿ’ต New lower denominations
๐Ÿฆ Currency reform
๐Ÿ”ข The removal of zeros
๐Ÿ“‹ Government/CBI technical preparations
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ Monetary restructuring

This is why I am paying VERY close attention right now.

If the committee has indeed been working for months, the next question becomes:

WHEN will the CBI officially communicate the next step? ๐Ÿšจ

I have been saying that we need to watch for an official announcement regarding the timing and mechanics of the zero-removal project.

And I have to tell you...

๐Ÿคฏ I'M JUMPING UP AND DOWN AT THIS NEWS!

After all the years of waiting, studying, and watching the pieces come together, seeing the discussion move toward specific lower denominations and an active government committee is certainly something worth watching closely.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The CBI has NOT publicly announced a date for removing the zeros, and the article itself says no final decision has been made regarding the 50- and 100-dinar notes. My information about the committee's current status comes from my source and is not an official CBI announcement.

So now we watch.

๐Ÿ‘€ The next official CBI announcement could be VERY important.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ IRAQ: ARE WE FINALLY NEARING A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH? ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Article:  “AL-YAKTI TOLD ULTRA IRAQ: BAGHDAD AND THE REGION REACHED AN UNDERSTANDING ON  THE BUDGET, OIL, AND ASYCUDA.

The Oil and Gas Law is one of the five main issues we were told last September 2025 by my CBI contact, just over a year already could/has held up the reinstatement...

We get a sense that all are now agreeing on the issues and they can go forward with the law to parliament now.

----

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ IRAQ: ARE WE FINALLY NEARING A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH? ๐Ÿ”ฅ

A new report says Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region have reached understandings on the budget, oil, revenues, and ASYCUDA, potentially opening the door for the long-awaited Oil & Gas Law to move forward.

๐Ÿ›ข️ This is a BIG deal.

Back in September 2025, a contact of mine at the CBI told me that the Oil & Gas Law was one of the five major issues that needed to be resolved and was necessary before the dinar could move toward a revaluation.

Now, we are seeing signs that Baghdad and Erbil may finally be reaching common ground on several of these issues:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Budget
๐Ÿ›ข️ Oil & Oil Revenues
๐Ÿ’ต Non-Oil Revenues
๐Ÿ“ฆ ASYCUDA
⚖️ Oil & Gas Law

๐Ÿ‘‰ My opinion: We are now just steps away from resolving one of the most controversial and politically difficult issues on that list.

If Baghdad and Erbil have truly reached an understanding and the Oil & Gas Law moves to Parliament, this could represent a major piece of the puzzle finally falling into place.

After more than a year of waiting...

๐Ÿ”ฅ Could we finally be watching one of the major obstacles begin to disappear?

⚠️ Important: This does NOT guarantee a revaluation or establish a timeline. The connection between these issues and a potential dinar revaluation comes from information shared with me by my CBI contact; it is not an officially published CBI requirement.

The next thing I’ll be watching closely:

Will the Oil & Gas Law actually reach Parliament and move toward a vote? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ’ต

๐ŸŒŽ IRAQ’S NEXT STEP INTO THE GLOBAL ECONOMY

 CHANNEL8

Iraqi Government Spokesperson told Al-Iraqiya News that al-Zaidi will attend the United Nations General Assembly to deliver Iraq's address, with an itinerary featuring bilateral meetings with the U.S. President, other heads of state, and representatives from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

----

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ AL-ZAIDI AT THE UNITED NATIONS: WHY THIS VISIT COULD MATTER FOR IRAQ — AND WHAT DINAR WATCHERS SHOULD BE WATCHING ๐Ÿ’ต

๐Ÿ“ฐ NEWS SUMMARY

Iraq is preparing for an important diplomatic and economic moment on the international stage.

According to the Iraqi Government Spokesperson, Prime Minister Al-Zaidi will attend the United Nations General Assembly, where he is expected to deliver Iraq’s official address before the international community. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐ŸŒŽ

But his visit will reportedly involve much more than his appearance at the UN.

Al-Zaidi's itinerary is expected to include bilateral meetings with the U.S. President ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ, other heads of state, and representatives of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

That combination is significant because it brings together three different areas of international engagement:

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ Multilateral diplomacy through the United Nations
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ High-level political relations with the United States and other governments

๐Ÿ’ผ Economic and commercial engagement with the international business community

The announcement also comes in the context of growing U.S.-Iraq economic cooperation.

During Al-Zaidi’s July visit to Washington, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted a U.S.-Iraq Business Summit, where more than 50 agreements and memorandums of understanding involving Iraqi authorities and major companies were announced, with a combined value of more than $60 billion.

The companies involved included major firms across sectors such as energy, finance, technology and infrastructure.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT FOR IRAQ?

For Iraq, this is about more than a diplomatic visit.

Iraq is attempting to strengthen its position within the international economy, attract foreign investment and develop economic sectors beyond its traditional dependence on oil.

Large international investments can potentially bring:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Foreign capital
๐Ÿ—️ Infrastructure development
⚡ Energy projects
๐Ÿ’ป Technology and modernization
๐Ÿฆ Financial-sector development
๐Ÿ‘ท Employment and private-sector opportunities
๐ŸŒŽ Greater integration with international markets

This is particularly important for Iraq because the country's economic strength is closely connected to its ability to diversify its economy and improve the efficiency of its financial and banking systems.

International companies also need confidence that they can operate within a predictable financial and regulatory environment.

That means banking reform, international payment systems, foreign-exchange management, legal frameworks and financial transparency all become increasingly important.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ WHY THE U.S. CONNECTION MATTERS

The reported meetings with the U.S. President and representatives of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce place the United States at the center of this diplomatic and economic outreach.

The relationship between Baghdad and Washington has multiple dimensions, including diplomacy, security, trade, investment and financial cooperation.

For Iraq, stronger economic relationships with major U.S. companies could potentially help bring international expertise and capital into strategic sectors.

For American companies, Iraq represents a market with significant infrastructure, energy and development needs.

That creates a potential two-way economic relationship:

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ Iraq seeks investment, technology and development.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ International companies seek opportunities in a large and developing market.

The reported agreements are therefore important not simply because of their dollar value, but because they indicate the scale of international commercial interest being discussed around Iraq.

๐Ÿ’ต WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR THE IRAQI DINAR?

This is the part that many people following Iraq are particularly interested in.

Could these developments eventually contribute to conditions that support a stronger Iraqi dinar?

Potentially — but indirectly.

And this distinction is extremely important.

The diplomatic meetings, UN appearance and business agreements do not confirm an upcoming RV.

However, they could be relevant to the broader economic conditions that would matter if Iraq were eventually to change its exchange-rate policy.

A currency's long-term strength depends on much more than headlines.

It is influenced by:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Foreign-exchange reserves
๐Ÿฆ Banking-system stability
๐Ÿ“Š Monetary policy
๐Ÿ›ข️ Government revenues
๐ŸŒŽ Foreign investment
๐Ÿ“ˆ Economic productivity
๐Ÿ’ต Foreign-currency liquidity
๐Ÿ›️ Institutional credibility
๐ŸŒ Integration with international financial markets

If Iraq continues making progress in these areas, the economic foundation surrounding the dinar could become stronger.

๐Ÿฆ BANKING REFORM MAY BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST PIECES

For anyone following the possibility of a future dinar revaluation, Iraq's banking transformation deserves close attention.

International investors need functioning banks capable of processing international payments, trade finance and foreign-currency transactions.

Iraq has been working toward greater integration of its banking sector with international financial institutions and correspondent banks.

This matters because a currency that is increasingly integrated into a modern financial system has a different economic foundation from a currency operating primarily within a restricted domestic financial environment.

The IMF has discussed Iraq's financial-sector modernization, correspondent banking relationships and efforts to improve the country's foreign-exchange system.

So when we talk about a potential future change in the value or exchange-rate framework of the dinar, banking reform is one of the areas worth monitoring closely.

๐Ÿ“ˆ WHAT WOULD ACTUALLY BE A BIG SIGNAL FOR THE DINAR?

For those watching for a potential RV, there are several developments that would be much more meaningful than rumors on social media.

Watch for:

๐Ÿ”น Official Central Bank of Iraq announcements

๐Ÿ”น A documented change in the official exchange-rate framework

๐Ÿ”น Changes to monetary policy

๐Ÿ”น Changes involving Iraq's foreign-exchange reserves

๐Ÿ”น Further banking-sector modernization

๐Ÿ”น Greater integration with international correspondent banks

๐Ÿ”น Continued reduction of the official/parallel exchange-rate gap

๐Ÿ”น Economic and fiscal reforms

๐Ÿ”น Growth in non-oil sectors

๐Ÿ”น Official legislation or regulatory decisions concerning the currency

These are the types of developments that can provide measurable evidence of changes in Iraq's monetary and economic framework.

⚠️ DOES THIS CONFIRM AN RV?

No.

This is perhaps the most important point.

A UN appearance does not confirm an RV.

A meeting with the U.S. President does not confirm an RV.

A $60+ billion investment announcement does not confirm an RV.

And increased foreign investment does not automatically mean that the Iraqi dinar will suddenly be worth substantially more against the U.S. dollar.

A revaluation would require an actual policy decision by the relevant Iraqi authorities.

The Central Bank of Iraq remains the key institution to watch when it comes to exchange-rate policy.

This is also why investors and dinar watchers should be cautious with claims that a specific date has already been chosen or that an RV has been secretly confirmed.

The difference between economic preparation and an actual exchange-rate decision is extremely important.

๐Ÿ”ฅ SO WHY ARE DINAR WATCHERS PAYING ATTENTION?

Because Iraq appears to be continuing to build relationships that could be relevant to its long-term economic transformation.

Think about the sequence:

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ International diplomacy

⬇️

๐Ÿ’ผ Foreign investment

⬇️

๐Ÿ—️ Infrastructure and economic development

⬇️

๐Ÿฆ Banking modernization

⬇️

๐ŸŒŽ Greater international financial integration

⬇️

๐Ÿ’ต Potentially stronger foundations for the Iraqi financial system

This does not mean that an RV automatically follows.

But it explains why developments surrounding Iraq's economic integration are closely watched by people interested in the future of the dinar.

๐Ÿง  THE BIGGER QUESTION

Instead of asking only:

“When is the RV?”

There is another question that may be even more important:

“Is Iraq building the financial and economic infrastructure that would make a future change in its currency regime more sustainable?”

That is something that can actually be monitored.

We can look at Iraq's:

๐Ÿฆ Banking reforms
๐Ÿ’ฐ Foreign reserves
๐Ÿ“Š Monetary policy
๐Ÿ›ข️ Oil revenues
๐Ÿ’ผ Foreign investment
๐ŸŒŽ International trade
๐Ÿ’ต Exchange-rate policy
๐Ÿ›️ Government finances
๐Ÿ“ˆ Non-oil economic growth

Those indicators provide a much more useful picture than unverified social-media predictions.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ WHAT AL-ZAIDI'S UN VISIT COULD REPRESENT

Al-Zaidi's participation in the UN General Assembly places Iraq directly in front of world leaders at a time when Baghdad is also pursuing deeper economic relationships.

His reported meetings with the U.S. President, other heads of state and U.S. business representatives could provide opportunities to discuss:

๐Ÿค Bilateral relations
๐Ÿ’ผ Investment
⚡ Energy
๐Ÿ—️ Infrastructure
๐Ÿฆ Financial cooperation
๐ŸŒŽ International trade
๐Ÿ“ˆ Economic development

For Iraq, the broader objective would be to strengthen its position as an economically connected country capable of attracting international capital and participating more deeply in global markets.

For the dinar, these developments are relevant because currency credibility ultimately rests on the economic and financial system behind the currency.

๐Ÿ’ก BOTTOM LINE

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ Iraq is increasing its international diplomatic and economic engagement.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ Al-Zaidi's participation in the UN General Assembly gives Iraq a major international platform.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The reported meetings with U.S. leadership and business representatives could strengthen political and economic ties.

๐Ÿ’ฐ The reported $60+ billion in agreements highlights the scale of international commercial engagement being discussed around Iraq.

๐Ÿฆ Banking and financial-sector modernization remain critical pieces of Iraq's economic development.

๐Ÿ’ต For the Iraqi dinar, these developments could be relevant to the long-term economic foundation of the currency.

⚠️ But none of these developments, by themselves, confirms an imminent RV.

The real confirmation would come from an official and documented change in Iraq's exchange-rate or monetary policy.

Until that happens, the most important thing for anyone following the dinar is to separate verified economic developments from speculation.

The story to watch is not simply whether someone predicts an RV.

The story is whether Iraq continues building the economic strength, financial infrastructure and international integration that could support whatever monetary decisions its authorities make in the future.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ’ต IRAQ'S ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION IS THE STORY. THE DINAR IS ONE PART OF THAT STORY.
