🇮🇶🔥 IRAQ’S 2027 BUDGET: THE FIRST STEP TO WATCH
📢 NEWS SUMMARY: Iraq’s 2027 budget is currently estimated at 200 trillion dinars, with Iraqi officials working on a mechanism to stabilize government salaries and state expenditures before the draft reaches Parliament.
💰 Around 150 trillion IQD could go toward salaries, while approximately 50 trillion IQD would be allocated for investment. The draft is expected to be finalized in September and submitted to Parliament in October. Approval is still pending.
💡 MY TAKE: Remember the sequence we’ve been watching for the potential activation of Iraq’s “Delete the Zeros” monetary reform:

2️⃣ Narrow the gap between the CBI official rate and the parallel-market rate 💵
3️⃣ Then activate the “Delete the Zeros” project 🔥🇮🇶
