The #Central_Bank_of_Iraq has decided to issue a national electronic payment card for employees and non-employees.
The card will be issued exclusively by the Central Bank and under its supervision.
It will be used within #Iraq only for withdrawals in Iraqi dinars from all banks and electronic payment companies.
MasterCard, Key Card, Nakheel and all other electronic payment cards will be cancelled, leaving them exclusively in the hands of the Central Bank.
It will be operational by the end of this year. There are no electronic payment cards operating outside Iraq in dollars yet!
