The Central Bank participates in a workshop on governance and compliance in the field of money laundering and terrorist financing.
The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)/Mosul branch participated in the "Governance and Compliance in the Field of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing" workshop, organized by Rasheed Bank in Mosul Governorate.
The workshop emphasized the need to enhance employees' and officials' understanding of the importance of anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and anti-terrorist financing measures, as well as the application of locally and internationally recognized best practices in the same field.
The workshop also sought to enhance the bank's role through financial inclusion initiatives and the provision of superior banking services to citizens.
