Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani during his visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning, the General Authority for Statistics and Geographic Information Systems to follow up on the progress of the implementation of the general population census:
 
We congratulate all the people on this entitlement that has been suspended for ages, and today is historic. 
We are living a historic day with the population census.

 Census lays the foundation for a new Iraq

 Religious authorities of all religions urged participation in the census.

 We have completed a modern census.

Population census is a process whose goal is purely developmental.

 We thank citizens for their cooperation and urge them to continue with the meters.
