Central Bank: No changes in the mechanism for selling dollars to travelers

The Central Bank of Iraq confirmed on Tuesday that there are no changes in the mechanism for selling dollars to travelers.

The bank stated in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News" that "the flow of selling dollars to travelers through airport outlets via government banks and some exchange companies continues with the same mechanisms that it launched on July 14, and there are no changes in this mechanism."

He explained that "the news that is spreading contrary to what was stated in his instructions is intended to spread chaos and confuse citizens, and undermine confidence in the national economy, which this bank is working to establish."

On July 14, the Central Bank decided to grant dollars exclusively to travelers at airports.
