Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed, on Thursday, that the government’s plans in the field of economic and financial reform are the gateway and basis for all reforms, while the International Monetary Fund praised the Iraqi steps in the field of the financial and banking system.

Georgieva welcomed “Iraq’s accession to a non-financial program to support economic reforms, as meetings with the Fund begin next month to implement this program.
